Hi - I’m Emma, the owner of Kind Lettering. I started training as a calligrapher at the end of 2020, and am passionate about spreading the calligraphy joy!
Teaching calligraphy is so fulfilling; a huge goal of mine is to help others find the joy and mindfulness in learning this special art. I teach both in-person workshops in and around Oxfordshire, as well as online workshops and courses.
Slightly more unusually, I am left-handed, which is seen as an obstacle in many hands-on hobbies, but I can safely say that it can and will not prevent you from learning calligraphy yourself.
I am based in Oxfordshire, UK, but often travel to London and many other locations for live brand and corporate events.

Whether it’s personalising items with calligraphy using pens, nib and ink, engraving or hot foiling, together we can create both memorable and interactive experience.
I am thrilled to represent The Modern Calligraphy Company as their regional ambassador for the Oxfordshire region. I run beginner workshops for both nib and brush calligraphy in a relaxed and informal environment close to the centre of Oxford, as well as teaching occasional courses online.
Additionally, I offer personal, 1-1 tutoring, private workshops and calligraphy on-demand.
